Well it is the start of another month and the run in to the festive season is firmly on us. Walking home through the city centre the lights are all shining, the xmas music is blarring out of the shops and the stores are doing anything they can to get people in. Luckily my shopping is almost done...

The quiz scene in my area increasingly becomes barren which means I have little choice put to attend bad quizzes. A driving test failure last week means I'm rooted to the locals at the minute but with a new test and an impending move to a city centre on the cards the future for my quizzing looks bright.

Interesting to see that there is a movie entitles Quizmaster due out in 2012. It looks like a uk film but little information apart from the imdb page as of yet.

The Quiz Addict will soon be starting a weekly news quiz which will be posted on a Friday Evening to help you with your planning for the weekend of quizzing. Hopefully this will get some interest. Ill post answers in the comment box to help people who are quizzing over the weekend!

And lastly I have been in touch with various book publishers and will be offering some very good quiz related prizes in the next few weeks so keep an eye out.

On another note, I turned 26 yesterday and being one step closer to the big 3-0 fills me with very little excitement. I had a nice quiet birthday but plan to reverse that on Friday night for a few drinks and spending far too much on the pub quiz machine !
